Carson Western Boot (Women)

I’m so heartbroken because I am so deeply obsessed with these boots, but the reality is that I’m only 5’3 and carry most of my height in my torso, leaving me with shorter (and thicker) legs than these boots will accommodate. I love them so so much — they’re comfortable, stylish, a great height and a fun twist on a staple. On me though they go up almost mid-calf like a sock boot, and my calves are just too thick for them to look good. While I can zip the boot fine, and it doesn’t look terrible from the side, from the front it gives me a calf muffin top and like… i’ve already got about a trillion insecurities and I really don’t need calf muffin top added to the list. The shaft leather is fairly stiff so i’m not entirely sure if it will stretch out eventually, but i suppose by the time i find out i’ll have already committed to keeping them. I’m going to stare at them on my legs for a few more days before I decide if they’re worth the gamble or if I should return, but if you’re on the fence I’d say think long and hard about how your legs look and if these might work for you.
