good but defective
I really like these jeans and unlike all other River Island jeans I’ve purchased, these ones actually run true to size. I’m 5’5” 121lbs and typically wear a size 25/26 or 4 in jeans. In these I ordered a US4 and the waist fits perfectly though it is more of a true mid rise coming in a couple inches below the belly button. There is somewhat of bagginess in the front area of the pants but not super noticeable. The length is also a tad long but would be prefect with a platform shoe or heels. Overall I am returning these however as I got a defective pair with one of the pockets being folded over and accidentally sewn into the outseam.
