Brushing with a Mason Pearson Hair Brush is the best way to distribute the natural oils while exfoliating the scalp and stimulating circulation to the hair follicles. The patented pneumatic cushion conforms to the contours of the scalp, which optimizes brushing with minimal effort. All Mason Pearson Hair Brushes are hand made in England. This 'mixture' has nylon spikes to facilitate brushing through thick, textured or wavy hair, yet may be used on all hair types.

Got it because of the hype but I’m on my way to get a second one to keep at my night stand and a third for my car. What the heck is in this?

Meh.

I was excited to finally buy this iconic brush for myself after buying it as a gift for others over the years. Now that I have it, I don’t understand the hype. The nylon bristles are SO sharp that I drew blood lightly tapping my finger with it. Needless to say, it’s painful on the scalp. The bristles are also fairly short, so I can’t get the brush through the full thickness of my hair in one pass. I have to divide my hair into an upper and lower section to brush through it. It does make my hair shiny and soft, but it flattens all volume in the process. I end up looking like Elvira. Bummer. Back to my old brush, which works just fine.

Wish i knew about this before buying so many combs

Greatest detangler. No snagging and combs through my curly-wavy hair like butter. Wet and dry hair approved. Extremely expensive but this is honestly all you need for the rest of your life and pass it on to your love ones to use too.

worth every penny

I’ll admit, I hesitated before buying this hair brush because the price felt ridiculous, but after just one week of using it, I can honestly say it’s worth every single penny.
