Very short - choker length

The image on Nordstrom.com of this necklace gives the impression that it is a rather long chain necklace that would reach past the collar or neckline. However, it is actually a very short chain necklace that measures 16.5 inches in total, including the extender chain. I was looking for a longer necklace, so this is going back.
