All around great brand and item
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The waterproofing was amazing, it was pouring rain and this worked great. The pit zip ventilation made the biggest difference. Took it backpacking and took up very little space. Have not tested durability.

Not a true rain jacket
This jacket does not repel rain very well. It absorbs it almost immediately. I don't know how it is classified / marketed as as a rain jacket nor what people can really use it for but I was pretty disappointed spending the money. A heavy duty garbage bag performs better.

Jacket got shorter.
Very disappointed to discover the length of the jacket body and decreased by several inches and comparison to the exact same jacket purchase 10 plus years ago. I guess that's economy of scale.
