Timex has gone back to
Timex has gone back to its roots of fine American watchmaking with their recent Marlin, Atelier, and Waterbury collections. I have a 1985 Timex Marlin, and even produced at that low 80s and 90s point, it is a fine watch.
This Marlin Automatic exceeds that by miles, and is quite a beauty. It sits among my favorite watches. It is beautiful all the way down to its fine leather strap.

I am disappointed in this
I am disappointed in this product. I"m hoping that the issue I have with my purchase is not indicative of the quality of Timex. The watch I purchased is an Automatic model and It stopped working after being left alone for 12 hours. I did follow instructions on how to wind the watch initially. I wore the watch for an entire day (around 10 Hours) Then I switched to another watch I have for the next day. Checking the new model, it had lost 7 hours in a 12 hour period of not being used. This was returned as a defect in my opinion.

Watch fits great but the
Watch fits great but the front was scuffed. There was no protective film on the front nor back. I didn't notice it for a few days because I was out of town and didn't take the watch with me.
