Marlene Everyday Bag

This is a stunning bag—but can I be frank? I mean really, REALLY frank? When my new bf told me he was gifting me a black bag from Nordstrom, I was excited. But when I was opening it, he mentioned the brand, my heart did not sing. This is not always the best quality brand for the money, and many of the designs are, to my eye, tacky, I am soooooo pleasantly surprised. This bag is simply gorgeous. Lovely, clean lines, very classic. Perhaps it is hand assembled—I think they claim something like that—certainly machine stitched. In any case, I have read that D&G bags have zero resale value (not that I’m planning to sell it, but this is notable:) because they basically fall apart. So we shall see. It certainly is a beautiful piece to add to my collection while new. And I’m of course, more than grateful for such a lovely gift. He has good taste!
