BEST cleanser for dry, sensitive skin
I have incredibly difficult skin -- dry, sensitive, and acne-prone -- and this cleanser has been the absolute best answer for me when it comes to moisturizing, gentle cleansing.
The consistency is quite thick and creamy, which I love, and you only need a very small amount to distribute it. For those accustomed to more liquid cleansers where you feel it lathering all over your face, this may take some getting used to, but I personally enjoy the feeling of massaging it in circles to properly apply it (according to the instructions).
I still use the Mario Badescu makeup remover for stubborn eyeliner, but after patting dry, my skin feels very clean and -- for the first time ever -- moisturized after cleansing. Usually my face feels very tight and even painful afterward, but not with this cleanser.
Finally, please don't let the comments about the smell scare you away from trying this! It must be highly based on personal preference, because I hate the smell of fishiness/fresh seaweed, and I don't get that smell from this at ALL (even with the small bits of seaweed). In fact, I think it has a lovely fresh, creamy smell. If you're at all in doubt, please give this a try!

DO NOT PURCHASE THESE PRODUCTS
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have discovered that all of these products are not worth the price. They allow samples to try the product and when the actual product is purchased, it is falsified. The quality is not worthy.

Non-Irritating
My skin is super sensitve and this cleanser is perfect for it. My skin feels so soft and smooth after using it with no irritation. I do agree with the other reviewer -- it definitely does have a somewhat unpleasant scent to it, but I wouldn't discourage anyone from trying it. The results are worth it!

Skin improved drastically!!
I was getting a facial and was told my skin was very dry and that I was stripping all of my skins natural oils. I did some research, found this product and with the help from the girls at Nordstrom I purchased this product along with other Mario Badescu products and within a few weeks there was a great improvement in my skin. The elasticity and softness was something completely new to me and it felt great. I love the smell and my skin just glows after washing. It is so reasonable in price and I love the simple packaging. Its a really great product and I tell everyone that compliments my skin all about it!

Seaweed facial soap
This doesn't clean makeup well, so I use it in the morning. However, I like this product a lot since it is gentle on my skin while doing the mild scrubbing job. Scent is pleasant to me, too.

This is gentle and feels soothing, very natural and earthy, loving it. Will buy again. I also use on my feet. Am ordering the seaweed night cream to try also.

I just tried this item for the first time as a friend of my recommened mario badescu's line of products. I will use the product everytime i take a shower. You notice the improvement as soon as you rinse. Your skin feels clean and amazingly soft, although the seaweed makes for a smell but I assure you it is well worth it. Great product will be trying more of this line. The price is also nice it's like a spa treatment in your own home!
