Enzyme Cleansing Gel

I don't know how MB gets away with not disclosing fragrance in their products (ones I've tried so far - Enzyme Cleansing Gel, Seaweed Toner, Cucumber Cleansing Lotion/Toner). The Enz Cleansing Gel also has mica/some other kind of glitter in it. I can't wash off the glitter; it's still on my skin even after copious amounts of water and wiping with toner!! A day after using this cleansing gel, my pores are terribly clogged (and I just had a facial with extractions yesterday). I think it must be the mica because I've had similar experiences with mica products in the past. I was so excited about a line with minimal ingredients, but now I see that they just choose to ignore some of their most irritating ingredients!!! So many people are allergic to fragrance and sensitive to mica. Please beware if you are sensitive.

I was so excited when this arrived. BTW, Nordstrom is the best store ever! The first time I used it was in the morning. Then I went on with my usual routine. I have combination By dinner time, my face was oily all over. This is the only product that changed in my routine, so it has to be it. I decided to give it more time though, it's only fair. Today I just washed my face in the morning and two hours later, it is shiny but not as oily. Some of the reviewers said there's mica in it, so could it be the mica? Nevertheless, it does leave my skin oily. Can't vouch too much on the cleansing ability yet, so I'll update my review after a month. I tried it with my mia and it hurt a bit because there's no foam. I use the soft brushes so the brush is not the issue. It leaves my skin soft and smooth afterwards, which are most likely effects of the papain and grapefruit, effects to be expected from both ingredients, so that part really does work. It contains methylparaben, so if you're avoiding parabens, this is not for you. Overall, it is okay. I would have given it four stars, except for the oily/shiny effects. Maybe my skin is still adjusting, but this is something to be aware of if you are thinking of trying it.

This face wash is great. I really like using it in the morning because the smell is so clean and refreshing it wakes me right up! I also use it at night, though. As far as removing ALL makeup, it will remove some but not all, however, you should be using a toner after you wash your face to really remove all traces of makeup anyway. For those of you using this with your Clarisonic, stop. Clarisonics are only to be used with foaming cleansers so that it doesn't scratch your face up and this face wash clearly states that it is "non-foaming." Overall, I will definitely repurchase this once I run out, It really makes my skin feel soft, and doesn't over dry. Love it!
