Cucumber Cleansing Lotion

I heard about MB from a you tuber who is a professional make-up artist. I was surprised at how affordable the products were and she spoke very highly of them. I did further reviews and thought I would give it a try. I am very particular with what I put on my face because I have sensitive skin. For years I only used a sea breeze astringent that you can find at CVS. My skin is combination with a few breakouts here and there. The astringent would burn and I got sick of how my skin felt after I used it. It was time for a change and I am happy I made it. I bought the enzyme cleansing gel and cucumber cleansing lotion two weeks ago and my skin feels like heaven. It has never felt this soft. Not only do I love how my skin feels and looks, I love the price and the natural ingredients used in these products. I tell all my friends about these products and I am very grateful to have found that you tube video. Keep doing what you do MB!

I've been using this toner for about a week, and am quite happy with it. I have combination skin, with an oily T-zone and normal to dry skin on my cheeks and the rest of my face. This product definitely removes any remaining makeup you may have on your face, so I think it's most beneficial at night. I don't wear foundation, so for me it really just gives me an extra boost to ensure that my pores are clean and that my skin is prepped for serums and moisturizer. For anyone who uses BB creams or foundation, this is going to be your magical product. The only negative I can really think of is that there is definitely a strong scent of alcohol, which is common with many toners. Since I don't wear foundation I may try something more gentle. Again, it's an A+ for anyone who wears foundation and the like.

I have been using Mario Badescu's skin care products twice a day (morning and night) religiously for 6 months and I have noticed an improvement in my skin. While living in California I had combination skin during the warmer months (normal on the cheeks, slightly oily on the T-zone) and normal/dry skin during the colder months (slightly dry on the cheeks and normal on the T-zone). I moved to Hawaii 3.5 years ago and my skin did not like the huge increase in humidity. My skin went to slightly oily on the cheeks and oily on the T-zone. I had also started to break out with acne (deep red bumps). I started using Mario Badescu's Cucumber Cleansing Lotion to help control my oil and break outs and it worked for me. The product comes in simple packaging (which is one way in which they are able to keep their prices affordable). It is a light green colored liquid with bits of cucumber floating in it. It removes any residual cleanser or make up, leaves your skin feeling toned but not dried out, and does not have a strong smell. Using this product, along with Mario Badescu Botanical Cleansing Gel in the morning, Mario Badescu Glycolic Foaming Cleanser with the Sonicare cleansing brush in the evening, Clinique Even Better Clinical Dark Spot Corrector, and Neutrogena Healthy Defense Liquid Moisturizer SPF50, helped to control the oil production of my skin and prevent break outs. Before, I would constantly have a shiny T-zone and need to use oil blotting papers by midday but not after using this product! After just a few days, I noticed that the texture of my skin was improved. My skin looked smoother and pores were less noticeable. Over a few weeks, the pigmentation of my skin looked more even and less blotchy. The scars from my break outs were the first to fade and eventually the sun spots that I have on the tops of my cheeks were lighter too. I was never a heavy liquid foundation wearer but I usually always wear compact powder to even out my skin tone. After using this product, I feel like I don't have to. Overall, this is a great product for use on any type of skin.

My 12 year old daughter started getting oily on her nose and small, soft blackheads were appearing. I went to nordstrom and asked a women at the philosophy counter what product would be best. she said i should get this product because it is effective, gentle, and very cleansing. This is exactly what this product is! My daughter is so pleased and uses it every night...i do to.....when she is asleep!
