'Alpha Grapefruit' Cleansing Lotion

This is a good toner for combination skin. The texture is a little thicker than water but not quite gel; still light but not so thin that it soaks through the cotton pad too fast. To me the the smell is only vaguely citrusy, it's more like a mix of pink liquid hand soap, baby powder and aloe. It's still a pretty light scent though and fades away as it dries. Pros: It's good at cleansing and removing dead/dry skin without drying out the less oily areas, one of my major concerns. My serums do most of the heavy lifting but I have noticed slight brightening and quicker fading of recent post-breakout hyperpigmentation since I started using this. It's definitely helped calm down some inflammation and doesn't burn or sting active acne or sensitive areas of the face. Cons: It can leave the skin slightly tacky. It dries down completely pretty quickly but you can still tell there's something on your face, sort of like when you rub in the excess after a sheet mask. I don't mind it for night-time use because it functions as a toner and sort of pre-moisturizer before my serums or creams, but daytime use depends on weather and makeup use. I wouldn't recommend this for those that like their face to feel squeaky clean after the toner.
