Unikko Cotton Terry Cloth Robe

I judged this robe too harshly. It does snag, and some of the threads on the interior were loose when it arrived, but I have learned that is a property of the material, not the production. This is nice terry cloth. Do not get if you have a lifestyle that might snag it. Any snag shows up intensely because of the patterning. Red threads snag and reveal pink.

I bought this robe four days ago for my birthday. My mom passed away last year and I've been using her 90's bathrobe that is threadbare, but still functional and wonderful. I wanted something that would last just as long. I splurged on this and it's already unraveling. What's more is that the pattern is sewn in such a way that it's very obvious when the threads have come undone - pink turns to red and vice versa. I will keep it because I need a robe to wear to the hospital in April when my baby is due, but I am sad that I don't think this will last like my mom's did.
