Marianna Slingback Sandal

Poor quality, cheap-looking sandals. And at this price point, insulting.

This was my second attempt to replace my beloved, black, Munro sandals with 2-inch heels that had lasted for several years. These were comfy to put on out of the box, and I liked the buckle strap. However, when I tried to walk in them, every step felt uncomfortable around my ankle. It felt like my ankles were being pulled from an odd angle I didn't have this problem with any other Munro sandals that I've bought or tried on...so it must be the design of this particular shoe. Perhaps it is better suited to someone with a different foot shape, i.e., one that is flatter/has a lower instep than mine? Who knows. Hopefully, the third time will be the charm...I'm trying one more option soon before switching brands...

As soon as I walked in them they were comfortable. The leather does not look like plastic to me but I bought them in black. These shoes were even better in person. The heal is a nice size without being too high. And they certainly do not look like old lady shoes. I can't wait to wear them.

Much to my disappointment, the shoe which appeared to have a similar last to a Monro 7N that I had recently bought and like, did not fit anything like the earlier pair. It is an attractive sandal with a comfortable heel that is not too high for this older individual. But the front was incredibly narrow and even the strap along the back did not have a hole that matched my heel. I had to return the shoe.

Got them in silver. Perfect fit. Comfortable - work great with my bunions! Love Monroe wide sizes. A bit more expensive than I’d like but worth it.

Comfortable and look perfect. I wasn't sure if I would like the closure but it works easily.
