Perfect for my 2nd lobes!
All the negative reviews seem to be from people who misunderstood what they were ordering. This is a petite, threaded diamond stud, with an invisible setting instead of a prong setting so they look like they're floating on your ears. Perfect for a second or third lobe, helix, tragus, etc. These aren't meant to be large diamonds for your first lobes! I love the fact that they're threaded, so I know they'll stay securely in my ears, and are perfectly comfortable to sleep in. Bottom line-- these earrings are great quality, extremely sparkly, and the perfect size for my needs!

I'm pretty sure this is meant for a child. I recieved this in the mail today and immediately called up Nordstrom thinking they sent me the wrong earring. To my amusement, when i actually took it out of the baggie, the actual diamond and earring are miniscule. The flowered backing is bigger than the whole thing which is why I thought they sent me the wrong one. Based off the size, there was no way that was going to fit in my ear. Maybe with something this small, they should put pictures up for comparison. Yes, it is going back.

Better than I expected
I recently got a pair of 2.5 mm Maria Tash scalloped set diamond threaded studs (2nd piercing hole), to leave in 24/7, sleep in them without discomfort - so far tjose have been great. I wanted these threaded studs for my 3rd & 4th lobe piercings to compliment that first pair. These are perfect. Yes, they are quite tiny, which is what I want and works for the size of my earlobes. The price is steep (one star off; but same price as MT online), but I had a gift card to take bring the price down. Getting the earrings in was a challenge at first, watching the MT video was very helpful. Once I got the hang of it, this second pair was much easier to put in. The length from backing to diamond is just right for my earlobe “width”, any shorter and I may not have been able to screw the diamond into the backing; any longer and they would have drooped a little out of the piercing hole. They sit just right in the hole with a little play. Every day I check they are that they screwed in tight - after a few months of my 1st pair and now a coup weeks of this pair - none have never been loose. I don’t know how people get a good photo of small earrings, but I did my best!

Beautiful earring, I’m wearing it in my tragus. It is very good quality but people seem upset about the size. 2.5 is great for the tragus but I wouldn’t go smaller. I just ordered a second one for my cartilage.

Great Quality, Subtle Earring
The other reviews are disappointed that this is small but in my opinion, that's the whole point! It's a subtle earring. I used it for a "workplace appropriate" upper cartilage piercing and it looks great! The quality is really nice, the diamond catches the light beautifully and my piercer had no trouble getting it in the hole. The invisible back gives it a really clean, flush look. I love it!
