Engraved Diamond Lotus Stud Earring

I wanted a small permanent stud for my third piercing that turned out to be sensitive to my silver studs. After researching this little one, I decided to give it a shot. Needless to say, the '3 mm' description did not help much. If you wondered about the same, I provided measurements for this particular size. 3 mm refers to the length of the petal, not the actual length and width of the stud - you know, the regular measurements most of us are used to ;). This is a very intricate and shiny piece. The sides of the petals have tiny diamonds embedded in them, so the stud is shiny from any angle and quite sculptural. For reference, my ears and earlobes are probably larger than average, so the piece might look more prominent on yours. The last pic shows how it looks next to my David Yurman studs, 8x9 mm. The post is 6.5 mm.

I love the sparkle and the design of this piece. Maria Tash makes the Lotus stud in several sizes as well as different metals (I like options). This piece would pair well with Maria Tash single marquis studs as well. My only wish is that there was more selection at the Nordstroms location, sometimes it's challenging getting exactly what you want because Nordstroms doesn't carry as much MT inventory as the Maria Tash boutique downtown. This piece is lovely. I have no regrets and I will always be a Maria Tash fan.
