LOVE My Bag

I have been lusting after this beautiful bag for over three years, and with my daughter's encouragement, I finally pulled the trigger. I am beyond thrilled with my purchase and have no regrets. The leather is butter soft and the stitching on the outside is subtle and adds a classy touch. I am not a "big bag" person, so I opted for the Marcie Small and I have to say the size is perfect for me. All of my essentials fit easily into the bag and it doesn't feel too big, or bulky. I had also considered the Mini, but when I saw it in person, it was too small. The Marcie Small is the PERFECT bag and the PERFECT size! I truly love this bag, love the craftsmanship and am thrilled that she is finally mine! My only complaint, (and it has nothing to do with the bag itself), is how it arrived packaged by Nordstrom. It wasn't wrapped nicely, the dust bag was wrinkled, the Chloe tag was detached and the tissue was all crumpled up inside. I know that seems nitpicky, but I was very disappointed in the packaging by Nordstrom for this beautiful and expensive bag that I waited three years for.

I waited years for this bag, now it’s going back

I have wanted this bag for years! Received it for Valentine’s Day and it’s the newest version (2022) and it’s pretty embarrassing. It’s a $100 purse. The leather is stiff & not nice, there is no contrast stitching, and the new zipper is awful…seems very unfinished and it’s difficult to zip. Very cheap overall. Definitely not high end bag quality. How disappointing.

Sadly returning

Small Marcie is stylish and really classy. I was Loving it right out of the box. Unfortunately the main zipper that allows access into the bag is a big hassle. It’s like a zipper on a jacket that doesn’t work smoothly. The bag does not open fully unless you unfasten it from the other part of the zipper (similar to a jacket zipper). It’s really a bad design bc it’s a challenge to reach into the bag to access your items unless you open it this way every time and Closing it back up is an extreme pain. Based on this I plan to return this item. It’s so sad though because it’s a fabulous looking bag.

Perfect grey bag

Sooo I have been wanting this bag for years ! And I went to visit her when only the meduim was offered and had to break it off right then and there. Too big . So I waited and finally the smaller version came out. So I did it!! On the 10 point day no less. She is everything , gold accents beautiful cashmere grey and the perfect size for my 5'3 108 frame. I couldn't be happier and she will fit everything I need in a daily bag. Wow and she's a lil less expensive. I will have this staple for years to come. If you are on the fence about this lovely bag try the smaller version. CANNOT wait to unveil her.

perfect Marcie for a smaller frame

I was thrilled to see the Marcie come in a smaller size. I had waffled for a few months on getting the medium-sized bag because it just seemed so big for my frame (5'4", 118lbs) and I was right. I originally bought the larger bag and owned it for only 3 days before exchanging it for the smaller version. With the larger version, every time I caught a glimpse of myself in a mirror, all I saw was a purse. It is just too big for my size. The smaller one is plenty roomy, just as gorgeous and is the right size. Love it!

I wanted this for so long!

I have been scouting this bag for a long time and I picked it up so many times in Chloe stores but I just couldn't commit. I finally decided to order this bag and I am thrilled! This bag has the best leather and hard wear! I ordered black to use as my stable crossbody bag. The handles are ridged but not stiff and the crossbody strap is very comfortable. I am not sure why people complain about the zipper... it is clunky but not any harder to zip than other bags you just need 2 hands. The bag is small but can sufficiently fit a bottle of water or an umbrella along with your other necessities. I am so happy it is finally mine!
