Central Park West Wingtip Oxford (Women)

These fit perfectly with a slight upsizing - I normally wear a size 8 but went for an 8.5 following other reviews' suggestions. On the Marc Joseph box 8.5 = 38.5 and they are perfect for me! Often 38 is a bit tight and 39 is too large in some brands. I have a narrow heel and wider front of my foot and these fit as if they were "bespoke." The footbed is padded and very comfy. There is sufficient arch support for me with my medium-high arches. I teach and am on my feet for hours so these two criteria are absolutely crucial. The upper leather will take a bit of breaking in but these are definitely worth it. To me they look just as nice as some of the very top end lines but are much more affordable.

FIT: I'm a size UK5.5 in D-E width (US8), with a wider forefoot/ higher instep yet average heels. I sized up to a US9 & it fits great - there's no rubbing against the sides of my feet, yet my heels don't slip out & it's not too long in the toes/ total length. So I'd advise you to either go with your true size/ half size up if you have narrow to average width feet, OR a full size up for D+ widths. COMFORT: I have also worn these shoes to teach for hours without issue! The rubber sole gives you good grip on tiles/ wood etc, though of course they aren't snow boots!) That also applies to the stiffness - you can of course unlace them but I slip my foot in with the shoelaces done up. Granted, I wear socks with them (since they're my work shoes) so I can get my foot past the stiff back without issue but, if you don't wear socks, I'd recommend a plaster (bandaid) on the ankle if you think it will rub. STYLE: I like that the design is low profile enough for work but with a slim/ refined lug sole. This makes them simple enough to not date when the chunky shoe trend (inevitably) stops looking current.
