received a used bag for Christmas
I ordered this bag as a Christmas gift, but what I received was clearly a used item. Inside the bag was someone else’s receipt from a Macy’s store in California, which strongly suggests this was a returned item that was resold without proper inspection.
The most upsetting part is that no quality check was done before shipping. This was meant to be a Christmas present, and receiving a used bag completely ruined that experience. There was no compensation offered for the inconvenience or for ruining a time-sensitive gift.
This was extremely disappointing and unacceptable, especially from a retailer I expected better standards from.
