Octavie Over the Knee Boot (Women)

These boots dress up or down easily, and are on trend without breaking the bank. I am 5’10” 136lbs with very slender legs. These boots run true to size. I am a shoe size 8.5. I got these in a size 9 in order to be able to wear them with socks &/or a shoe insert based on my previous experiences with other boots. In 40 years I’ve never written a clothing review before, but I am shockingly impressed by these boots for the value. For the price, I think these fit great. They stay up fine with or without something underneath. The calf area of the boot shaft starts a bit low on the leg for me but would be fine on someone shorter. The heel is study enough for grass or pavement. The material cleans easily. I don’t think I’ve ever gotten more compliments from men on a shoe ever before. If you’re going to be walking and/or standing for over 6 hours, they will definitely need an insert, but for normal work or date night wear, they are comfortable enough on their own.
