Marcell Espadrille Platform Sandal (Women)

Just bought these platform wedges last weekend. I am obsessed with the platform espadrille style this season and was so excited when I saw these in the store. I have worn them twice and have gotten so many complements. They are incredibly comfortable and sturdy with the two straps. I can't say enough about these shoes. Wearing them for 10+ hours a day with lots of walking I am very impressed so far. Might even buy them in another color ;)

My style is glam goth, and these are perfect. It’s hard to make black look like it belongs in the Summer in the South, but “every beach needs a beach witch” is what another fan of black clothing once said. The fact that another reviewer returned them because they reminded her of the Munsters actually was a selling point for me, lol. In my opinion they are not THAT chunky! They’re cute platforms! I was worried that the raffia would hurt on bare skin, but all of the raffia parts are lined with a soft, smooth leather (it’s probably vegan) . My friend who has Pottery Barn raffia kitchen chairs has scared me off when it comes to these textures, but not to worry! I have a narrowish foot, and my vamp area is shallow. I don’t think a wide foot would fit in these.
