First I purchased the MFisher black leather bootie (very similar to this) with the fur on the outside of the tongue and a lace-up. I bought them in Nordstrom and ended up with an 8-1/2. I anywhere from 8.5-9 usually 9. So I ordered this boot assuming 8.5. Got it right! The leather boot, either one, fit entirely different than the suede version. I had also tried a pair in grey suede. I love the fine leather sole (trim) and the chunky black lug sole. Buy either version. You’ll be happy.

I love the look of these and they fit well. I subtracted one star for comfort- they can’t compare to the comfort of Ugg boots!

This shoe fits very true to size! Well made, too! However, my only complaint is the top of the shoe. I originally thought the white fur was scraping my skin but I think it’s the elastic on the sides. I have very thin ankles so I can’t imagine what it would do to someone with thick ankles and calves. My suggestion is to wear long socks to avoid the rubbing. I literally get a rug like burn around my calves or ankle area. I have solved the problem with socks that reach the top of the boot but it is annoying. Otherwise would’ve gotten 5 stars! Love the look!!

These looked awful on my short legs. The leather is super stiff and they look bad in short legs.
