MARC BY MARC JACOBS 'Preppy Nylon Natasha - Mini' Crossbody Bag

I recently purchased the Mini Natasha style in black and I love this bag! I've been looking for a crossbody bag like this one and this is a great buy! I like the shape and size that is perfect for everyday use. Also, the nylon makes the bag lightweight and good for travel (it can be squished and folded). The bag is not too big, but it has enough compartments to put all your stuff inside.

I purchased this crossbody last year to take abroad. It was the perfect size and I loved the inner, zippered pocket (great for keeping money, identification, etc close and secure). The nylon is also great for travel since it's easy to clean and pack.

My dog just ate the MJ bag I bought for travel last year. I have promptly order another as this is the best chic but useful bag I have ever own. This is what is great about the bag: It is well balanced so that the bag stays on your back as you bend over to start pulling your suitcase; it is a bright pink inside so you can find your items; it is deep enough to hold a book, wallet,iphone etc. But the best part is the flap. It is actually a deep hidden pocket where you can stow your passport, camera and extra money. No one knows it is an extra storeage place! I used this when traveling in South America and it was fabulous. OH!!! It also can be washed. When you come home you can drop it in the washer and it comes up clean.

I bought this bag for an upcoming trip to Europe this fall. I have discovered that it holds more items than I ever thought possible. From my large wallet to my cosmetic bag plus an array of other items I normally carry with me. It is light, and does not look bulky. I can't wait to use it on my trip.

This bag has lasted me 3 years with constant everyday use. Big enough for everything I need to carry along and not too heavy even when "fully loaded". I got so tired of lugging along everything in a big heavy bag and downsized to Mini Natashas - my back and shoulders are happy now! Who needs it all anyway? Just carry a tote and leave it in the car if you need more - grab Mini Natasha and go! I have this in black. Will repurchase if she every wears out but so far only needed to repair the small loop on the strap - an easy fix for $8 at the shoe repair.

In going through the many bags listed on Nordstrom.com, I considered only those in manmade or non-animal-derived materials. From that selection, I looked for something attractive and commodious but not too big. Somehow the Natasha mini, a small (looking) nylon bag (with PVC strap and trim) holds all I need for a day of urban touring in Europe. And it doesn't take on weird or bulky shapes, even when stuffed with a small water bottle, small camera, smart phone in case, and iPad mini, plus glasses case, thin wallet and credit-card holder. The nylon fabric is smooth and substantial, though the bag weighs very little, and the deep black coloring gives an impression of quality. There are more exciting, fashion-forward designs on the site, but this one seems to match up to all my requirements. I've carried it daily around town (with a lighter load than when I tested it) and found it comfortable and easy to use. I'm looking forward to seeing how it behaves with a full load.
