Oversize Lambskin Leather Tote

I love that this bag is not structured; I can throw it in my purse and tote unexpected things home from work that don't fit in my purse which allows me to carry a normal size bag to work. I overload this tote with paper, glass food containers, my makeup bag, water bottle, laptop, books, etc. and it has held up really well. I am not kind to the outside, so it does have some surface marks, but those are more my fault than anyone else's. However, there is pink fuzz on *everything* I put in this bag and I am over it. I've had this bag for ~4-5 months and the lining sheds worse than any other similar bag I've had. I had a bunch of business cards fall out of their container in the bag and I had to lint roll them because they were covered in pink fuzz. Nothing tries your patience more than lint rolling a 3.5x2" piece of paper 50 times. I emailed MG and asked if this was a defect and they said it was not. MG suggested I take this to a leather specialist to have that issue addressed, but that's an added expense. For a bag that was almost $700, I expect more. If you purchase this bag, send it to a leather specialist before you use it.

I bought this online in both black and red. I saw a review of one of their smaller bags in reference to the quality of leather and got a little nervous. When they arrived, I loved the feel and color. The problem is that there is no support to the bag. There is no base support in the bottom and even when filled with my usual things, the sides caved in, making it more of a shoulder bag and less of a tote in shape. It’s too bad, a couple of minor adjustments and I would have kept both.

The leather is so soft and beautiful. The only negative is that it doesn’t hold a shape. But it looks cute draped and folded.

Uber-light yet durable. It is lighter than my lightest leather bag by M0851. Tested adding my 15 in MacBook Pro and it feels ok. I ended up buying two (the black and the red), while they were on sale. I put a flexible piece of plastic in the bottom. It is not unstructured, less than YSL.

Looks exactly what I wanted but comes dust from inside every time. I hate this bag

LOVE this bag so much I’ve got 3 now. So lightweight but I can use it daily hauling everything around in it; it’s turned into my work bag. No structure means it drapes beautifully no matter how much you put in. I do clean and preserve the leather and am surprised how the leather is revived when it already looked and felt great. Solid investment for me. These bags LAST and can look as new year 3 as first day. I will buy more colors!
