Manhattan One-Shoulder Ponte Knit Gown

This dress seems to have mixed reviews but I took a chance and am so glad that I did! It is very form flattering, did not slip, budge, nor break. The material has a good thickness to it and the side zip up is perfect. I originally purchased a medium, 140lbs 5’3 (bottom heavy) but it was baggy on the torso. Purchased a size small and it fit like a glove! Wore it to a black tie wedding and it did not disappoint. 10/10 would recommend.

I could not find a MOB dress after searching for months. Either matronly or prom-like, just nothing to suit me. My daughter requested all black and encouraged me to find something that made me feel beautiful, sexy, and confident. Like I would normally dress. Finally, I found this little number online and scooped it up thinking I could return it if needed. I’m 59 and in good shape, I don’t wear matronly dresses, and didn’t want a ball gown or prom dress. This reminded me of Donna Karen 90’s. Sleek, minimal, powerful, sexy feminine. I received so many compliments and questions from future MOB’s of its origin. I felt great, danced freely, and loved the unique shoulder bearing sculpted look. It was perfect for the event and will get future use! Not all MOB’s dress the same way and this dress was very much my aesthetic. It did fit snug, so bloating could be an issue , but I was lucky the day of the event. It didn’t have as much give as I assumed it would. A little snug medium. So be aware, but the M was my size.

This will be the show stopper , neck turning, asking who’s the girl. This dress was everything. I love the material it snatch my physique. Iam 4’11 and 135 lbs. it was not too long it was just right. Perfect dress for formal evening. I recieved so many compliments.

I’m 5’5” 122lbs with an hourglass figure (boobs+butt). Bought XS and small, keeping the small. Although the XS fit, it felt a little too tight in the seams along the top of the dress, so opting for comfort and sizing up and will use my Nord card alteration benefit to get it hemmed! Material is soft and a little thicker than I expected but not in a bad way!

The gown is definitely a show stopper, it fit like a glove accentuating my curves. Very comfortable and was able to dance for hours even though it did not have a split in it. I wear a medium but purchased a large because of my wide bottom.

This fit so beautifully and the material was soft and forgiving.
