Velvet Straight Leg Pants

I was excited to see these in the mail before leaving for my trip, because I didn't think they would come in time. But when I tried them on for the first time, my excitement quickly faded as I realized something about them was.. off. I adjusted them, trying to find out if they truly were as wonky as my eyes were telling me, or if they were just uncentered. No, these were definitely wonky pants. I take them back off, and in my underwear, line up the inside seams of each leg to confirm my suspicions; the right leg has over 1.5 inches more width than the left leg. Long story short, I'm very disappointed. I didn't expect the quality of these pants to be amazing, but I never expected that they would have two different-sized leg holes (who would have??). Honestly, how did these make it past quality control? I thought 37 dollars was perfectly reasonable for some well-fitting pants, although made of polyester. However, it is most certainly not reasonable for a pair of pants with two different-sized leg holes, which cannot be worn unless they are fixed. It's a bummer, because the color is actually very lovely. Dark brown in the shade, purpley-mauve in the light.
