Luka V-Neck Cardigan

The red is a beautiful color, and the light weight is perfect for air-conditioned places. The buttons are nice, too. I found the sleeves on my normal size Small way too short and upsized to a Medium. For reference, I am 5’6” and weigh 135. Quality is sacrificed a little here for style and a low price point. I am a little leary of the sweater’s fragility in the wash, as the seams are minimal and the care tag says “Do not soak,” which I’ve never seen elsewhere. You will have to cut off those tags; Written in at least ten languages and weighted by an extra button, they make an obnoxious lump in the left side seam and are so long that they can hang down below the bottom ribbing. But this sweater gets extra points for style.

The fabric content of this sweater is great for chilly days or air conditioned rooms. I’m a size 6, petite and typically wear a small in cardigans but this brand’s sizing says 6 is a medium. This was very big on me. It’s designed to be a slouchy type of sweater and I could have worn a small. Will be returning as I prefer a more fitted cardigan.

I had to return the size 2-X V-neck red cardigan because it was much too large. Although the fabric on this sweater is thinner than I prefer, I decided to purchase the 1-X which is a better fit to wear with my casual spring and summer dresses. Not the best quality fabric, but I think this sweater will be okay for my needs.
