Mallasvex Envelope Clutch

I picked this up for a cocktail dress wedding I’m attending in May. It’s just the right size and style and has a good quality feel, with nice solid and heavyweight material construction, stiff like a classic checkbook wallet. But something that doesn’t come through in the photos is that this is INCREDIBLY sparkly. It is fun but is a little bit more Vegas-worthy than I expected, and not as minimalist as it appears in the photos. I had bought it thinking it might transition to date night use but it’s too much for that. Still, since I got it for a wedding, opening the box to see the sparkles was more delightful than anything, so I will keep it and just be a bit showier than I intended to be!

Wanted to love this bag as it was exactly what I was looking for, however when it arrived I noticed it was very sticky. I quickly realized it was the adhesive on the sides and the inside lining. I chalked it up to the heat in transit, however I went to the Aldo store yesterday to repurchase there, and their display bags had the exact issue. One of theirs was also missing stones. So while this is the look I was going for, for my occasion, I’ll be returning because of the quality issue.
