Dark Rum Hand & Body Wash

I used this as a body wash over the winter months and enjoyed the scent, as a body wash it gives a nice lather and doesn't dry out the skin like I've found some scented body washes to do. The scent also lingers for a while post shower after rinsing it off, I liked it for the winter as the scent is quite warm and rich. I like all Malin Goetz products and this is a good gift when it comes in the set for christmas.

We mostly used this as a handwash, and in cool water this foamed, cleansed and rinsed quite well. I had no skin reaction to this (and have sensitive skin). The scent was light and fruity floral which was pleasant but not especially interesting, or at all reminiscent of rum - either bay or alcoholic. It was not until my partner commented it smells the same as Appletiser that I realised why is seemed familiar - he is right! Of course you have to have drunk this to see the similarity, but it is there. The travel size came in a metal tube which was difficult to dispense the right amount from, as the formula is a little too thin for this kind of tube. A pump would be a whole lot easier to use. Overall, we thought this basically fairly average. However if you love the scent that might make the difference.
