What it does: This foundation is ideal for normal-to-oily skin types and provides full coverage. It is formulated with flexi-fit complex technology to deliver oil-absorbing powders that ensure shine control and up to 24 hours of wear that doesn't cake, flake or fade.
How to use: Prep clean skin with a primer. Apply with a foundation brush, starting at the center of the face and blending out and down.

my fav foundation🥹
literally my favorite foundation ever. i’ve tried so many and this is so wonderfully full coverage, smooth, and not patchy at all. it wears so nicely with concealer and powder ofc. i apply it w a brush and remove excess w/ a damp beauty blender and the coverage is still amazing. i have some acne and started tretinoin while using this foundation and it works w/ my skin basically changing skin types. LOVE.

I used this product for the last 10 years but I guess they no longer make any shades for caucasian people :(

Oxidizes-beware
Perfect, smooth, soft look when first applied. However, throughout the day, even with primer it changes to a more orangey color. I’m mainly inside the (freezing cold) office all day, and it still gets oxidation. If I go outside/ on tours, it drastically changes and it’s really embarrassing honestly. Plus, I have oily skin and have to dab or powder about 3-4 hours in. And I use moisturizer, aloe and a primer. Pretty upsetting.
The shade and texture AT FIRST is perfect though. But I’ll be going back to HausLabs.

The Matte Velvet Skin Foundation does dry down darker once it is applied and exposed to air. For a perfect shade match, we recommend choosing a color 1-2 shades lighter than the shade that matches while is it wet.

Inaccurate online product colors
The color is much darker than shown online. This is my first time purchasing Makeup Forever products. I thought the colors reflected the true pigmentation that's shown online, and once I receive the product, i would be able to use right away, but that certainly wad not the case. My product is much, much darker.
