Strong masculine scent
Maison Margiela Replica: whispers in the library is surprisingly a very strong Eau de Toilette scent. The scent is vanilla, suttle scent of wood tone and slight peppery hint without any overwhelming scent of pepper. This is my first scent that is a unisex scent, however it is more masculine than femenine. I wear scents that are female oriented, therefore this scent more "male" to me. I sprayed 2 pumps in the morning, went to do errands all day and this scent had a longetivity of a 10/10; meaning that it stayed on all day! I only expect eau de toilette to stay for about 3 hrs, and this was a great surprise. My overall impression is that this is more masculine scent, it lasts all day so a little can go a long way. I can see this scent as a great gift to my boyfriend in his mid 30's, and he can wear this both going to the office in the morning and both for night events. This scent is perfect for fall with suttle vanilla- but not too sweet, and it's wood/pepper tones.

My favorite
I love the scent of vanilla. It is kind of spicy, woody and sweet scent at the same time. I feel so different when I use this perfume. The scent is so appealing and pleasing to me. It became my favorite perfume

True story: I’m a librarian and My husband and I fell in love in a library. He loves the smell of old books. So I thought I’d give this a try. He’s obsessed, I’m obsessed. MM nailed a ‘smoldering, sexy library book’, if you can imagine such a thing. One of my best buy’s from Nordstrom this year!

Hit the mark again
This perfume starts out with the great smell of vanilla then a hint of peppery smell. Madison Margiela hit the mark again! I like that this fragrance is not super strong but it will stay with you. I do recommend it.

Good for everyday
I think this smells really nice, little more on the mature or classic side but very nice and clean. Its somewhat on the musky side as well with light undertones to it slightly floral. I think it's good enough for every day morning/day.
