Baccarat Rouge 540 Scented Hair Mist

I love how light and soft this is! It doesn’t compete with my regular fragrances (warmer scents), but it has excellent staying power! I used it on an afternoon and still smelled it the next day. It’s not meant to be as strong as a regular perfume; it’s just a light scent to freshen up the hair. I also spray it on my pillows before bed sometimes! The fragrance to me is delicate and sweet; sort of like a unique floral mixed with condensed milk, as weird as that sounds. It’s really very lovely, and even my husband commented when he hugged me!

I smelled this fragrance on a friend and LOVED it. I tend to turn fragrance sour on my skin, so I decided to try this hair perfume to start. They didn't have the Baccarat perfume at my local Nordstrom to test on my skin. I'm so pleasantly surprised. I used it in the early afternoon and I can still smell it tonight, about 7 hrs later. I used 2 sprays. If you like a more powerful smell, I guess you could just use more, but I prefer a subtle amount of fragrance.

not sure why people claim this smells nothing like the perfume. it definitely does!! however, just not as strong. if you’re looking for a cheaper alternative to the EDP, this will not be it. it’s intended as a hair mist, for sure not a perfume. that being said, holds a great smell to your hair that smells just like the EDP! i recommend buying as long as you’re using it for the intended purposes, if not, i’ve heard ariana grande cloud has a very similar smell to baccarat rouge 540, at a much cheaper price point. however, i 10000% recommend biting the bullet and buying the real EDP, lasts forever and is such a clean, inviting, and timeless smell.
