L'eau À la Rose Eau de Toilette

I love rose scented perfumes; my go-to is Jo Malone's Red Roses scent. I went to the store to try both the L'eau A la Rose and the A la Rose scents and preferred the L'eau. It smells more like the traditional rose scent with peony notes. Very light, feminine, and youthful, not at all overpowering. Even though this is a toilette, I find that the scent lasts for hours. As more time passes, the scent fades into an even lighter and cleaner scent. If you're a fan of roses, you will love this scent.

This did not disappoint. I’ve been looking for a traditional rose scent like I remember it as a child and something my mom would wear. A lot of the androgynous scents these days have added some putrid Patchouli or Olibanum (take note House Le Labo and Tom Ford) to the rose and it kills that nice clean scent that would have been reminiscent of you actually putting your nose to a very nice and healthy bouquet of red roses and breathing in deeply. This does it. Good job on this MFK.
