Marco Plain Toe Monk Shoe

I have a nice shoe selection but I had been looking for a light brown monk strap for a few years now, most were not quite right for me. As soon as I saw this shoe I knew it was what I wanted, it's a very attractive shoe with a beautiful toe, very handsome, it's a single monk strap which was also a requirement. The shoe is also very comfortable; it took me about a week to break the shoes in but once I did they are very comfortable, so comfortable that I don't even use my orthodic and I use those in every shoe I own. It's by far the most comfortable dress shoe I own, even more than the one's that cost twice as much. My only gripe with the shoe (and I'm nit picking here) is that while the shoe is very attractive, the finish is not quite as rich as I thought it would be, it doesn't mean the finish looks bad, it doesn't it looks very nice and overall the shoe deserves 4.5 stars which is just under excellent. But the finish could have been a little richer, but I would buy this shoe again in a heartbeat and certainly suggest that if you're thinking about this shoe that you do the same. If you do keep in mind that these run a little large so get a half size smaller that what you typically wear.

I would give this shoe 4.5 stars if allowed. They are high quality, well made from Spain, with a good fit and very smooth high quality leather. However, the grey color is so subtle it can sometimes be difficult to distinguish from black. Not quite as easy to slip on and off as a loafer, but still a pair I will be fine with wearing on a trip. I travel a lot for work, so shoes that are good for TSA checkpoints mean a lot. These do have a very nice look for both work and better dress for evenings and weekends. They do match well with better quality dark jeans for a night out. Overall I am very impressed and the quality is great for the price, especially on the Anniversary Sale. Highly recommended.

I bought these shoes after seeing them in-store and they looked amazing. First time wearing them they felt uncomfortable at first, but after they broke in they perfectly hug my feet. Absolutely satisfied with the product.

Bought the Marco shoe in grey/black. What a beautiful shoe that fits snugly and is very comfortable. It is also like a chameleon easily changing color from more grey in bright sunlight to black in darker indoors. Highly recommended!!!
