Polyglutamic acid offers four times more hydrating power than hyaluronic acid, with large molecules that allow it to form a thin moisture-loss-preventing film on the skin's surface. The serum really works it’s magic
I got to try the Magic Serum Crystal Elixer for free, so after giving it a good shot for three weeks, I can say that I love it. It smells luxurious like a facial from spa. My skin felt a little dry after the first week, but now my combination skin has evened out and it feels smooth and soft. My skin is clearing, is smoother and it looks more dewy! I will definitely be buying this to keep my skin glowing and more youthful. Thanks for simplifying my skincare routine!

Gimmicky if you are truly into skincare
If you are into skincare and know a lot about active ingredients and steps, this is not something to spend your money on. Too many active ingredients, a bit gimmicky, and it’s heavily scented floral/rose. Serums don’t need to be scented... stick to Charlotte makeup, and go with actual skincare brands, not a makeup artist trying to dip into this space.

Good results- STICK WITH IT!
I’ve got to be honest, I was suspect when it came to this serum. I don’t know that I ever would have bought it on my own, that is, had I not been allowed to test it for some time. I purchased the Magic Cream in the past, and the results for me were not impressive—one other reason I didn’t expect much from this product. CT’s makeup is phenomenal; I just wasn’t impressed with her skincare up until this point. When I received it I was excited! It had already gotten some amazing reviews. I used the serum for the first time that evening and I was impressed immediately that there was no smell, it actually felt good on my sensitive skin and didn’t burn a bit, and when I massaged it into my skin, it dried quickly and left ZERO residue. There was no tackiness, stickiness, oiliness, nothing. And yet, my skin felt hydrated. So I’ve been using it about four weeks now, both in the morning and at night after washing my face. I have not broken out or had any adverse reactions to the serum. It’s also playing nicely with my other skincare products. I’ve seen pretty good results after 4 weeks, which is only half of the time that her “measured results” were studied for (8 weeks). I am comfortable now giving this serum a good review and I anticipate even better results over the next 4 weeks. Way to go, Ms. Tilbury! @ctilburymakeup @charlottetilbury @magicserumcrystalelixir

Pros & Cons
Pros: First of all, the packaging is absolutely stunning. So A+++++ on that. It definitely feels very heavy & luxe. It did not break me out at all (Normally fragranced products do within 1 day of using them.) And it did not clog my pores, which most products that have crystal powders in them do. So she DEFINITELY spent some time on this formulation. The serum itself soaked in very nicely to the skin, and does pair very well with the #magiccream as well as my other moisturizers over top. (I tested several & had no problems.) I also had ZERO issues applying makeup over top, and I tried several different foundations, some of which don’t normally do well over top of serums, & it passed with flying colors. And after applying the serum, it leaves your skin with a very dewy plumped finish. ———————————————————
Cons: It is very expensive, & does contain a lot more fragrance then the magic cream has in it, and I REALLY wish she would of left that part out. So if you are sensitive to fragrances or your skin is, then this is a NO GO for you. The fragrance for me was the hardest thing to get over while testing this tbh. Lastly, and now keep in mind I have only been testing this for about 2 1/2 weeks now, so if anything changes I will update this post accordingly, but I haven’t noticed any major significant changes in my fine lines & wrinkles. Again, it does plump up the skin more, and make it very juicy and hydrated, so I am interested to see what happens at week 4, and week 8.

It really is Magic!
Wow! I absolutely love this serum. I have been on the hunt for a decent serum that actually does what it says. This serum is perfect and EXACTLY what I was looking for. I use it in the morning and at night. (A little goes a long way). It made my skin feel smooth, bright and more youthful after first use.

Loving This Milky Serum!
This gorgeous golden serum contains Polyglutamic acid (PGA), which is like hyaluronic acid on steroids. It plumps, hydrates, firms, smooths, and gives skin a healthy glow. It is made from a bacterial fermentation process. Another power-house ingredient is Vitamin C which helps to brighten the skin and fade skin discolorations. This serum is lightweight, absorbs easily, and has a very delicate scent. The serum is milky-gold and instantly brightens the skin tone. It’s appropriate for all skin types and for any age. You can never start too soon to care for your skin.
