Twist Front Sheath Dress

I bought this dress in the pink and wore it to church. I received quite a few compliments and it hugged my curves quite nicely, but in a way that was elegant. I am 5’7”, 39 -31 - 41 measurements, athletic hour glass build. I purchased the size 12. I see that someone else mentioned the slit in the front was too high. That person is also 5’7” but weighs a lot less than me. My guess is that they purchased a size 2, which will have less length. I didn’t find the front slit to be a problem given that I purchased a larger size. I am buying the navy blue to wear to a US Navy function in the fall.

I purchased this for a work dress and I figured the slit in the front would be okay considering the length of the dress but it was not what I expected. I tried it on and with each step that I took the slit would open too high up the leg. Definitely not work appropriate. I can’t even imaging trying to get in and out of a vehicle, or walking outside on a windy day. It was not functional and I had to return it. And I don’t believe it was the size. I am a standard size 0, 25 in waist, and the dress zipped perfectly.
