This dress gives me life!!!
I have never in my life felt compelled to write a review on anything and trust me when I say I am a consumer. I received so many complements on this dress and more importantly, I felt great in it. First, the design and cut of the dress is so flattering. (On real women..) The length makes it conservative, why still maintaining a feminine silhouette. Second, no spanx required. I have a cellulite situation that usually requires help, but the lining and the fabric of this dress makes it totally unnecessary. I am scouring the Internet for other dresses like this. Maggy London please make this dress in more colors and patterns. I will purchase them all at full price!!!!!!!!

horrible
I don't know how the picture can look so good! I'm 5'11, 150 lbs (bought a size 10) and when I put this dress on, I debated if it was the worst looking dress I'd ever tried on. It wasn't the size, sadly it was the dress. Really bummed - I had high hopes :(

Dress Means Business
I agree that on the hanger this dress was ugly! However, after trying it on I was in love. It forms to the body, yet has a very classy look. Definitely work appropriate. I am 5'1", 123 lbs 34B and I left with a size 2. I had it altered at the sleeves and the hem as it hit below my calves. I wish Maggy had made this in a petite, but got to love Nordies alterations!

I ordered a size 12. I usually wear a 12-14. It ran small. The sleeves were so tight I could not get my arms in them. It was beautiful and I wish it had fit.

Not for me
I liked the top part of the dress. The top fit pretty well, though limited arm mobility. However, the bottom half is a different story. The lines on the upper part of the dress help define the waist. The lines below the waist emphasize the hips. They made my hips look huge. Never going to work on me. I returned the dress.

Gorgeous
An absolutely fabulous dress. So flattering and I love the midi length. I did have to return it for a larger size. I couldn't believe how small it ran. I normally wear a size 8 and have for several years. I am very sensitive about this and was so disappointed that it had to be returned. Actually, I loved it so much that I did the unthinkable - I ordered a size larger. The 10 came today, fits like a glove. My husband took one look and said "WOW, that's a keeper!" Five Stars, but keep in mind if you have a fuller figure you will probably need to go up a size.
