Embroidered Lace Overlay Midi Dress

The material, the style, the look the feeling it is just amazing. I got this dress for new year party 2014 and i was stunning amazing, very European style, very beautiful. i am 5-10 tall and 125lbs perfect sport body as i am professional athlete, i wore this dress and was just perfect fit size 6. Thank you

I really wanted to love this dress and thought I would as there were so many things about it that were almost perfect. First: What I loved: The midi lenth is so flattering - and is a length that is hard to find. I loved the lace. I love sheath dresses in general. What I did not love: As another reviewer mentioned the red is just a bit "off". Not a vibrant red, not a deep red. I wished it was brighter or darker - just...something beyond what it is. The sleeves looked like 3/4 sleeves on the model (which would be fabulous, and perhaps one could alter them to be so), however, on me, they were full length - so between the sleeves and the midi length, I felt too covered. What bothered me the most is the seam just above your waist - almost an empire seam, and it also had sewn in belt holders for the belt (ugh) can be cut but WHY do they do this? The seam hit me @ a bad spot. Fit is TTS as ML doesn't do "fashion sizing".

I purchased this dress on-line, hoping that the ivory colored slip could be replaced by a black slip. An all-black dress is much more slenderizing. However, the ivory slip is sewn into the seams and cannot be removed. So I'm sending it back. Too bad, because it is a beautiful dress, the sleeves come below my wrists and the hemline just below my knees, and I am tall. If you want a nice black lace dress lined with ivory, this is a good, well-made dress. It just wasn't flattering on me.

I absolutely love this dress! Extremely classy with a subtle sexiness to it. I wore it with black patent leather heels, a black patent belt (I purchased it from Nordstrom because the nude belt that comes along with it is not appealing in the slightest bit), pearl earrings, nails painted red and smokey eye. The dress is beautiful and I'm extremely happy I purchased it. I weigh 105lbs and I'm 5'4 tall. My body type is pear, petite bust, slim all through out, yet curvier around the hip area. I'm normally a size regular 0, yet the smallest size was a regular 2. I purchased the dress in a 2P hoping it would fit. The 2P ALMOST fit perfect, about half an inch loose, therefore I wore the belt. I don't think anyone would have even been able to notice had I not worn the belt, but I'm a perfectionist. I did have to cut off a couple of loose strings, as expected with lace. I would have given it a 5 star had they carried a size regular 0 or 0P. As a lot of the reviews say, it can either be worn up or worn down. I highly recommend, you won't be disappointed!
