Asymmetrical Sheath Dress

I really liked the structure of this dress. I'm a full figured girl and the style was very flattering. It hit my legs right below the knee perfectly and high lighted my calves nicely. Two things: 1. the sleeves puckered a bit around the shoulders; and, 2. The material was a bit too cheap for my liking. This style is a real classic and I would have worn this dress for years, but the material wasn't cutting it at all so I returned it. It's a pity they skimped on the material. I would have gladly paid a little more for better material.

I wanted this dress to work so badly! I had a few problems with it: First, the neckline is awkward. On the side where it shows more of the chest area, you cannot wear a bra. Or at least you can't wear a normal bra. Which is an issue for busty people such as myself because we need to have support throughout the day. Second: There is a slit that is not shown in the pictures that goes about halfway up the thigh. I am 6'1", so maybe it wouldn't be so bad on someone who is shorter. Other than that, the material was great and the fit was true to size. Wish it would've worked.

I got the cobalt blue and it was a beautiful color. Loved the asymetric design. Unfortunately the 2 was HUGE on me and I had to return (they don't go down to a 0!). And while I'd love to think it's because I am actually a 0, there is no way I am smaller than a 2 - their sizing is just totally off. In other brands (Ted Baker, French Connection) I am a 4. I am 5'6, 127lbs, 26 inch waist, 32DD for reference. IT was also much longer than appears in the picture.

This is such a flattering dress! I was concerned it would be too tight, but it fit nicely. A really lovely color and appropriate for work. This will be worn year round with just a switch out of accessories and/or jacket/sweater. I think I will buy more from this brand! For reference, I'm five feet tall, 110 and the petite 2 fit well.
