Madison Loafer

First time buying this brand of shoe. I have a high arch and a high foot last. This is a well made high quality shoe. It's got a leather lining, which I need for my finicky feet (a little arthritic and a slight bunion on one foot). Absolutely no need for breaking in. You can wear them from the start. The suede is very breathable but the rubber driving sole gives the wearer traction. I bought the shitake suede (kind of grayish brown) color. The color goes great with just about any pair of pants-all sorts of denim, khaki, etc. The insert contrasting color is barely visible, just enough to give the shoe some interest. FYI, I wear a US 10, European 41 which is inaccurately stated as an 11 in the US.

I got these in the shiitake color, which is a darker taupe, nice for fall. I normally buy 7.5 because I’m about a 7.25 … since some of the other reviews said they ran a little large, I bought a 7 instead. Fits perfectly & I will be keeping them. : )

Well made, nice looking and comfortable. Had to return because of sizing. Runs at least a half size too big, but I'll likely reorder in a smaller size.

Soft leather, feels like a slipper. Not much support, but comfortable. Not sure I could walk long distances in these. Plus side my heel doesn't slip out the way it does with so many loafers. I would say they run a little wide.
