Woven Leather Crossbody Bag

I was really excited to love this purse, but when I got I i realized the “adjustable” once made it smaller ( I’m 5’3 and petite) the stap hangs past the purse. There also isn’t any lining (which I did notice before purchasing) however because of that you can see the sewing for the inner pocket through the back of the purse! Honestly i expected better from madewell.

I love this bag. The quality is nice and I love the weave leather which makes it more interesting. Small slip pocket fits my card holder or key pouch. The size is perfect to run errands. This bag fits my key pouch; card holder; car keys; hand sanitizer; sunglasses in a soft case; phone and a small catch all pouch. The hardware is gold vs. their typical antique brass. The shoulder strap is just ok. I wish it had more of the standard adjustment with 2 straps meeting in the middle vs. one long strap with the buckle close to the bag. It works fine for me because I like to wear this bag crossbody and I have it on the longest setting since i prefer my crossbody bags to sit as low as possible but it might be too short for people taller than 5'5" or more curvy. The strap would also hang weird for the shorter people with too much excess left over. Something to keep in mind. Otherwise it's a very cute and comfortable bag and I highly recommend it.
