Pills and Sheds
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good oversized fit, nice weight to the fabric. Unfortunately those are the only positives. I have the grey, and it pilled terribly after first few wears and shed all over every single thing it touched. Used an electric depiller and a cashmere comb and it still co tinues to pill and shed horribly after each wear, to the point where it's been relegated to at-home wear only. Yet another over-priced dud in a string of poor quality items since Madewell segregated its "plus section". Yuck.

Dry Clean Only
I wanted to love this cardigan, and it is very nice, but I failed to realize the dry clean only instructions. I'm just not into high maintenance clothing care these days.

Not a typical Madewell oversize
I usually like the Madewell brand. I am typically a 2X and usually size down in Madewell because I find the brand to have a generous fit; so, I purchased a 1X, but I found this sweater to be more true to size. But the time I went back to size up, only 1Xs were left (my loss). Sweater has a great length (true to the description). I did find the wool component to be a little scratchy as was mentioned by another reviewer. I was also happy to see it came in a color other than black (but also missed out on the blue). More please.

Itchy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I returned this sweater because its a little itchy. If you aren't super sensitive to the way fabric feels on your skin, you might not mind. But it didn't work for me.
