love the versatility of this dress!
I bought this dress for my son’s graduation. Dressed it up with strappy fawn heels, a beige fedora, and a rich cognac, brown, suede coat. I had so many compliments. Everyone kept saying my husband should take me out on a date. The next time, I went casual and wore slip on cognac mules, and a jean jacket. Again, lots of compliments. I’m 5’3”, curvy & busty. The neckline does gape and my bra could be easily seen, except I used a rhinestone, star pin to prevent gaping and give a little pop.

Nice dress, but poor fit for petites
I wanted to love this dress, the material is very light and flowy, perfect for summer. It is thick enough to not be clingy or see-through and quality feels very good. However, for petite women or those with a short torso the v-neck was too deep and you could see my bra easily. I have had the same fit problems with other Madewell dresses so if other Madewell dresses work for you this one probably will to!
