The (Re)sourced Weekend Bag

This is a cute bag and looks exactly like what I wanted. I have unfortunately lost things (eg kindle) by putting them “into” the open-bottom pocket (a slide to put over a suitcase handle) on the outside, which is not in any way styled or marked to distinguish it from an actual pocket. Don’t get this if you are a slightly distracted person (ie if you put things in you bag without looking). The straps are also slidy and not super easy to keep on your shoulder, and the zipper is slow to handle as well (always completely unhooks). I don’t exactly regret this but wouldn’t spend the money on it again, I’d look for a more practical version.

Love the design and color of this bag (I got golden spinach) and I was so excited that it had the sleeve so that it can slip over a suitcase handle. I travel almost weekly by plane for work and I wanted a bag that I could slip my purse into, along with my computer, lunch, and a jacket. Unfortunately the bag stains very easily and the laptop sleeve won't fit my laptop when it has a case on it. The location of the laptop sleeve in the bag throws off the bag's weight when affixed to my suitcase and causes it to slide around. I would recommend this hands down for an overnight bag/weekender style, I just don't think it's robust enough for heavy travel, especially for the price.
