Chic mom look
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these jean shorts for a chic mom look - great color, not too short but not too long, and high waisted. I am usually a size 27 in Madewell jeans, and I originally ordered these in 27, but they were too tight. The 28's fit perfectly.

True to Madewell size
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m almost always a 26 for Madewell perfect vintage series and this was no exception. Love the mid length fit. My only concern is the 2% elastene - I am a little wary of whether this will make the shorts bag out.

try before buy
Love Wit and Wisdom for their fit and quality but the legs for these were huge! Even if I sized down one size, they leg would have been way too big making it very unflattering. Returned. Really hoped for these to work though since they were so cute

Run larger than the denim shorts
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved the denim mid-length shorts and ordered these in the same size-27 for a slightly baggy look. The denim ones fit perfect but these are bigger everywhere. The crotch hangs down too far and the waistband and backside are too baggy. They’re also quite stretchy. I’d love to size down and reorder but my size is no longer available. The color is a vintage off white.
