Not good for travel
This bag is woven and unlined which is a bad combo. when I used it for travel it stretched out and became extremely long and weird looking. I was really sad bc it looked beautiful just not durable for carrying a lot of stuff, honestly tho why else do you buy a big bag?

On trend woven bag
I love this bag for summer. I’m 145 pounds 5’6” for reference. It’s very slouchy like others have mentioned. Tried to try to show it in natural light.

another staple
Another hit for Madewell! It is NOT meant to be a structured bag as it IS woven which gives a lot more movement with the bag. I have about 9 of the transport totes and the look of this one is perfection. I got it in green, too!

perfect for me
I like the less structured feel and it goes well with the weaving style. The leather quality is as expected for any madewell totes. It really depends on individual preferences. If you want a more structured bag, go with the regular transport.

In love with this perfect tote
It’s absolutely perfect. I love that you can tuck shorter shoulder straps inside. It doesn’t look bulky or messy. The long strap is removable and feels comfortable on. It’s versatile. You can wear it three different ways. Along body, across and as a shoulder tote. Perfect around town tote and travel. Well done.

Perfect Spring/Summer bag
LOVE this woven tote! I have the larger sized Transport Tote with the suede stripe down the front from several Anniversary Sales ago. I loved it, but didn't use it as often as I thought I would. It was a bit too large and floppy, plus the leather had a pretty strong smell that didn't go away. I also have a small Transport and while it is very cute and light, it is quite small and without a zip top, can't hold much securely. This was the Goldilocks Transport bag for me - perfect size (not too big, not too small, juuuust right midsized tote/shoulder bag), love the woven leather, soft and slouchy but not sloppy, love the optional shoulder/crossbody strap that I can swap out with others as well. You won't regret getting this for the spring/summer/even fall!
