Like a pair of tims
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] That i always wanted growing up in NY. That’s what inspired me to get these. You know the Timberlands I’m talking about with the heel. These are not that but they get you there at a fraction of the cost. (The sale price on these was insane and it felt like i was being paid to buy them). I always wish the tan leather was a little less plastic looking but i know it’ll break in eventually. Madewell makes some of the most consistently comfortable shoes for ol’ big foot over here (size 11) and I’m grateful to them for that.

Purchased on 10/30/2021, the heel came off the boot on 11/29/2021. Returning.

Comfy but the heel is way higher than shown
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The shoes are really comfy but the heel is way higher than is shown in the picture or described in the description. I wanted a pair that is only slightly heeled and can be used as a pair of walking boots, but they’re more like special night-out shoes now. Got them on final sale so I can’t return them.
Also, the laces are really short for the eyelets so every time I unlace them to take them off, I have to relace them. Please add a zipper if you relaunch these shoes!

So comfortable and so cute!

Must have boot
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found these tan true to size. I normally order an 8 in all madewell shoes and these were no exception. They are comfortable and the leather is simply beautiful.

Perfect Fall Transition Boot
I bought these last year and wore them throughout fall and winter, including a week-long trip to NYC with all day walking every day. These are comfortable, durable, great quality, and with the money. A year later, they still look brand new. Only small complaint is the boot was narrow and hard to get on and off. But once on, it wasn’t uncomfortable or constricting, and the laces allow for an adjustable fit.
