Great Shoes

These look great and can be dressed up for work or down for a casual look. I got the brown saddle color and they go with most of my wardrobe. These shoes feel lovely inside with a bare foot - very soft. However, I do where hidden socks (Sheec brand) anyway because I want my shoes to last a long time. After I decided to keep them, I massaged in some leather wax that adds suppleness and also also makes them water repellent. Do this to all your leather shoes to make them last as long as possible. Breaking in: It took about a week, which is reasonable to me. I wore waterproof first-aid tape (it's slightly padded) on my heal on widest parts of my foot along with hidden socks to help aid that transition. I chose waterproof because it can be humid where I live and didn't want the tape to move.

unwearable

I purchased these shoes in October 2021 in 2 different colors. I have tried to break them in numerous times and I cannot. Every time I wear them I get horrendous blisters on my heels. I've tried all the tricks to break them in, but none have worked. I wear a 9H in all Madewell shoes (and generally a 9.5 in all other shoes). I have very narrow feet and was happy that these fit well and that my feet didn't slip out of them. I now have 2 beautiful pairs of shoes that I cannot wear.

Great Shoes

Very cute, not as uncomfortable as most flats

I haven't fully broken these in yet, but I have found at least initially some discomfort around my heel but it's seemed to get better the more I wear them. Just have to remember to wear bandaids to prevent blisters. These are super cute and they don't "gap" around the middle as much as a lot of other flats seem to. I love that the cheetah print is enough to help them stand out but still muted enough to be a neutral.

Elegant Loafer

These pointed toe flats were a comfortable fit when I first tried them on. I was expecting a tight fit at the toe as with similar styles in other brands. However, there is plenty of room in the shoe w/o sacrificing the elegant design. I ordered the dotted calf hair and feel confident I'll get a lot of versatile wear through the fall.

Disappointed

Love the design & very cute! But NOT COMFORTABLE AT ALL! I was only able to wear these once and my feet blistered and bled after 4 hours of wearing them. I couldn't wait to get home to take them off! I wanted to love these, and wish I could return them.

Madewell flat skimmer

Super sassy shoe, I bought the muted shell multi, I normally wear a 7 and got 6.5. Fits perfect. Great for work or casual.

Did not fit

I couldn’t find a size that fit me. My usual size 8 the length was ok but my foot would slip out when walking. Also there was a gap on the sides. I tried the 7.5 but it was too short and tight on my toes and the gap thing was still there. These are cute shoes but just didn’t work for me.
