Fit nicely, though the waist was a big too big. Note that the description says zip fly with button closure -- the pair of jeans I received did not have a zipper, it had a button up fly. Returned!

Love these for apple body shape!
These are perfect for my apple shape. The dart at the knees prevents the barrel shape from being overwhelming, but are flattering for my wider hips and thighs. I am usually a size 4/6 or 27/28 in pants, and these fit in a 26. I do not wear a size 26 in any other brand of jeans! I am 140 lbs, 5'6 and these are slightly cropped on me.

I am usually a 26 or 27 in most brands and in Madewell denim usually a 26. I purchased these in a 26 and they are definitely too big. I would say size down one from your normal Madewell size. I am almost never a 25 (I think I have one pair of jeans in a 25 from Madewell). The 25 is sold out so I am not able to purchase and try.
