I was a little nervous about ordering these boots based on the previous reviews. My package arrived today and I was very pleased with the look - these boots are BEAUTIFUL! I tried them on, and yes they are tight around the ankle and a challenge to get on and off. In my experience, sometimes footwear needs time to break in, and such is the case with these boots. I am so HAPPY with my purchase! I bought the saddle color and I am going to buy the black as well, after all they are on sale! Whoop, whoop!! Thank you, Nordstrom and thank you, Madewell!! I feel that me and these boots were made for each other!!

Could not get these boots on

I learned that I definitely need a boot with a zipper. I could not even put these boots on .....Loved the color and size of heel, but foot never made it past 3 inches down from top of boot.

Nice boot but poor fit

Beautiful color and style but could not get my foot all of the way in. Ordered my normal size but difficult to get foot in past ankle/heel

Stunning Boots

These boots fit perfectly. I have larger calf muscles and need a wider fit. I was doubtful they would fit but pleasantly surprised. The boot itself is stylish and good looking.

Agree with other reviews

They are okay, but not great. They go on and off with a little effort, but would have been better with a zipper. The calf size is generous, as I usually have wide calfs and these are a little big around the top on me.

Weird Angle

I love the look of these boots. Trying to put them on however? Totally different story. There is no zipper so when trying to put your foot into the footbed it makes the boot bend and next to impossible to get on. If you need a cardio workout, buy them. They are also next to impossible to remove once you get them on. A zipper would’ve solved this issue. Had to return Bc I don’t need to start my day like the Hulk when attempting to put them on.
