The Carey Mule in Pink Suede
I purchased these shoes in the pink suede, for a casual look. I typically bounce between a 6.5-7 and had ordered the 7 and found that it fit me better even with my narrow feet. I love how comfortable these shoes are with the block heel. I would order it in different colors!

Not for wide feet
These aren’t great if you have wider feet. Something inside the show along the edge pinches my feet badly. I can’t wear them for more than an hour and that’s just sitting.
Overall, the visual quality of the shoe doesn’t look as great as I’d anticipated. They look cheap to me. The leather scratches easily as well, so please spray some type of protectant on them before you wear them. The toe of mine was easily scuffed when my foot lightly bumped the power strip under my desk in my office.
This is my first ever purchase from Madewell.. these shoes live up to the quality of the company name.. at all.

too clonky for my feet
Maybe my feet are narrow, but I thought this was too clonky and doesn’t fit the foot well. I’m looking for an almost sock-like mule, so the silhouette really matters

Great Everyday Shoe
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have owned this pair for a couple of years now and have been wearing it nearly on the daily. It's a super comfortable heel, one that I can personally wear for hours. My only complaint after wearing it for so much is that the sole detached from the heel and I had to get them repaired because I love them so much.

Best Shoes Ever
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m really happy with this purchase. These are comfortable and stylish (without feeling dressy). My baby did drool on these and it left a slight watermark even though I tried to get it off immediately so keep in mind that you should treat the leather with a protector. Always feel extra cute when I wear these.

Beautiful color leather
Love how these look and feel like you found them in a vintage clothing store. Love the western influence and warm caramel color. I got a 9, sometimes wear 8.5 in sandals depending on the leather stretch, and 9 in these were fine. You can also wear half-socks if you need your toes to breath more.
